Environmental sustainability is an integral part of our way of doing business and is supported by concrete actions. The installation of a cogeneration plant to produce thermal and electric energy at opur Novedrate site in Italy has enabled us to further reduce CO2 while saving significant amounts of natural resources. We are constantly striving to find new ways to further improve sustainable development.

Proven environmental protection: the Lyfe Cycle Assessment and the EPD label

The effectiveness of our contribution to environmental protection has been demonstrated by a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) analysis, carried out by an independent organization on our range of products.

Following international rules, LCA studies measure the environmental impact that a product has during its entire life cycle.

Based on the results of the LCA analysis conducted on our range of products, Freudenberg Performance Materials succeeded in obtaining the coveted coveted Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) label.
